After years of feeling that I was not good enough and needed to change to fit in, I decided to take a break from research and explore science beyond the bench. I joined multiple associations for #womeninSTEMM, and through all the amazing women from all over the world that I crossed paths with, I discovered that I am good and I do fit in. The system needs to change to be more inclusive and diverse, and I want to contribute to this change.
